
The flight that we will be taking into Shanghai's Pu Dong International Airport is a unique one, as it is a polar route. Generally, the flight leaves Newark and heads straight for Greenland and then flies over the Arctic Ocean, and then finally shoots through Russia and the Central Asian steppes (the main stage of Season 2!) making a final beeline into China and more specifically Shanghai.
